Written during the lock down period in 2020, this melancholic piece captures a sense of the emotion and feeling that characterised the year through the eyes of a depressed rapper with a big birthday ahead of him. It also points to the One who has held him and offers hope to all those facing tough life situations.

Had plans to go big with this rap since I was turning 40
COVID and depression was like you will know me
Thats a literal translation

I lost track with some good friends

Cousins overseas on a knee coz they not treated fair

Making friends at this stage of life is quite hard

That's what happens when you've been scratched and carry scars from fake ones keen on what you've got not who you are
